TechZulu will be hosting its inaugural TechZulu Penthouse (#TZPH) on the Rooftop of ROC June 19-21 from 10:30am – 6pm during Silicon Beach Fest! Throughout each day we will be live streaming interviews to our worldwide audience, providing a space to come and get work done, hold a meeting, or just relax and take in the views. We are aiming to create an intimate setting, while at the same time offering broader exposure beyond the city walls. Early products will receive meaningful feedback. Partnerships can be forged. Shared experiences will be had and friendships will be made.

The NATO Show (National Association of Tobacco Operators) turned out to be a great show to immerse ourselves with learning about the tobacco industry, receive breaking news about the electronic industry direct from the head of the FDA, and connect with distributors, retailers, and other electronic manufacturing companies. Channel Marketing was a great topic about how convenience stores and distributors should provide consumers the convenience and commerce they are seeking. We were able to here first hand what activity has occured since they purchased privately held electronic cigarette company, Bluecigs, for $135 million in cash In April 2012.
The business model Vaper Fuel has planned combines nicotine, supplemements, and energy shot products that can be sold online by publishers and websites and offline by distributors, retail stores, manufacturers reps, and marketing partners
During the NATO show I had the opportunity to meet the Vice President of Mclane and went to a panel he moderated. The subject they discussed reinforced the business model we have been building.

Tobacco outlets are offering products often associated more with the convenience store. And, no one can blame them for diversifying; sales of traditional tobacco are declining at an annual rate of 3%. Plus, c-stores report for every 3 dollars spent on tobacco in their stores, a dollar is spent on other products. Though other products account for just 25% of the total transaction, the majority of the margin contribution lies with the sale of the non-tobacco item. Hence, it is no wonder more and more tobacco stores are adding a variety of snacks, candy, beverages and ‘go-with' products to optimize the tobacco ring. What can be learned from those that have successfully merged the tobacco outlet and convenience channel? This session centers around businesses that have leveraged and, now, enjoy the best of both worlds. This is a must-hear session for those tobacco outlets considering expansion of impulse items

Got an overwhelming interest in the product and interest in buying a nicotine product from smokers.
Major interest for mobile ad networks and websites Gay and Straight to drive traffic with email and banner ads. Experienced bartenders and staff buying samples from me while eating dinner. Others from the trade show coming up to me and asking are you the e-cig guy that has samples and wanting Nicotine products. Sold person from Spain who insisted I sell sample. Gave away over 120 samples 1 on 1 and negotiated handing out handout and samples at opening night party sponsor who liked the product. Did not charge for distribution in 75 gift bags.

Met with payment gateway that works with Blu Electronic cigarettes that just sold for $130 million and a majority of electronic cig companies. (the importance of this is finding banks that are willing to process particular products) It turns out that Blue was started by AEBN http://www.aebn.net/ one of the largest Adult VOD content providers who also do mainstream content.

We were attending the Natural Products Expo West 2013 in Anaheim on March 7, 2013 meeting with distributors and retail accounts for NutriCellula’s Patented Formulation line of dietary supplements – Female Formulation, Gay Pill, Male Enhancement, and Mighty Pill when we came across an exhibitor that had a golden deer and people puffing away smoking on an electronic cigarette with New Zealand Deer extract. We ended up doing reseach that night and purchased the url http://www.deerantlernews.com and started to aggregate information gathered from our research about Deer Antler Velvet. We determined that we would like to become a distributor and this product category was something we should do additional research.
